بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
Al-Qaa-ri- 'ah
1. The (Day) of Clamour:
مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
Mal-qaa-ri-'ah
2. What is the (Day) of Clamor?
وَمَآ أَدۡرَٮٰكَ مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
Wa-maa - ad-raa-ka mal- qaa-ri-'ah
3. And what will explain to thee what
the (Day) of Clamor is?
يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ ڪَٱلۡفَرَاشِ
ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِ
Yau-ma ya-kuu-nun-naa- sa- kal
fa-raa shil- mab- thuu-th
4. (It is) a Day whereon men will be
like moths scattered about,
وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ
Wa- ta-kuu-nul- ji-baa-li
5. And the mountains will be
ڪَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ
Kal- 'ih- nil- man- fuu-s
like carded wool.
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٲزِينُهُ ۥ
Fa- am- maa- man tha-ku-lat
ma-waa-zee-nu-h
6. Then, he whose balance (of good deeds)
will be (found) heavy,
فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ۬ رَّاضِيَةٍ۬
Fa- hu-wa fee- 'ee-sha-tin- raa- dwi-yah
7. Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction.
وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٲزِينُهُ ۥ
Wa- am- maa- man-khaf-fat
ma-waa- zee-nuh
8. But he whose balance (of good deeds)
will be (found) light,-
فَأُمُّهُ ۥ هَاوِيَةٌ۬
Fa- um-mu- huu- haa- wi-yah
9. Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit.
وَمَآ أَدۡرَٮٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡ
Wa- maa ad-raa-ka maa- hi-ya
10. And what will explain to thee what this is?
نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ
Naa-roon- Haa- miya
11. (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely!
