بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
قُلۡ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
Qul huwAlLaa-hu aHad
1. Say: He is Allah, the One;
ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ
AlLaa-hus-swomad
2. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
لَمۡ يَلِدۡ وَلَمۡ يُولَدۡ
Lam yalid -wa lam yuu-lad
3. He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;
وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُ ۥ ڪُفُوًا أَحَدُۢ
Wa lam ya-kunlahuu ku-fu-wan aHad
4. And there is none like unto Him.

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلۡفَلَقِ
Qul a-'uu-dzubi rob-bil fa-laq
1. Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn,
مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
Min-shar-ri maa-kholaq
2. From the mischief of created things;
وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ
Wa minshar-ri ghaa-si-qin idzaa wa-qab
3. From the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads;
وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّـٰثَـٰتِ فِى ٱلۡعُقَدِ
Wa minshar-rin naf-faa- thaa-ti-fil- 'uqod
4. From the mischief of those who blow
on knots (i.e. practising sorcery);
وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ
Wa minshar-ri Haa-si-din i-dzaa Hasad
5. And from the mischief of the envious one
as he practices envy.

بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ
Qul a-'uu-dzu bi-rob-bin-naa-s
1. Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and
Cherisher of Mankind,
مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ
Ma-li-kin-naa-s
2. The King (or Ruler) of Mankind,
إِلَـٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ
Ilaa-hin-naa-s
3. The God (or Judge) of Mankind,-
مِن شَرِّ ٱلۡوَسۡوَاسِ ٱلۡخَنَّاسِ
Minshar-ril was-waa-sil khon-naa-s
4. From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil),
who withdraws (after his whisper),-
ٱلَّذِى يُوَسۡوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ
Al-ladzii- yu-was wisu fee- swu-duu rin- naa-s
5. Who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,-
مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ
Minal jin-na-ti wan naa-s
6. Among Jinns and among Men.
